The Squirm.io leaderboard is the hundred longest runs ever played, by real players only — no bots. Reach 750 length in a single run to get on it. The board keeps your best run, so beating your own record moves you up rather than adding a second row.

What counts

One row per name, holding your best single run. Length is the only score in Squirm.io — there is nothing else to measure and nothing to buy that changes it.

Only real players are on this board. The arena is topped up with computer-controlled worms so that a game is never empty, and they play around the clock; counting them would fill the table with names nobody could ever beat. The Top 10 you see in the corner during a game is different on purpose — that one does include bots, because those are worms in the room with you that can kill you.

How to get on it

Farm the pellet clouds left by dead worms rather than chasing loose pellets, cut in front of bigger worms instead of chasing them from behind, and only boost when you have somewhere to go. There is more of this on the tips page.

Pick your name before you play, not after — the board records the name you died under. You can change it any time in settings.

No. The all-time board only records runs by real players. Computer-controlled worms fill the arena so a game is never empty, and they are excluded from this board entirely — the in-game Top 10 does include them, because those are worms that can actually kill you right now.

Do I need an account to be on the leaderboard?

No. There are no accounts in Squirm.io. The board records the name you were playing under when you died, so pick a name you want on it.

How often does the Squirm.io leaderboard update?

Immediately. A run is submitted by the server the moment you die, and the page reads the live board each time you open it.
